Who are we?

The Mourne branch of the Alzheimer's Society was launched in November 1999 by a group of carers of people with dementia and professionals working in the field, who recognised a great need in the local area for information and advice on dementia, and support for those affected in the community.

The Mourne branch area covers Kilkeel, Annalong and Cranfield.

The Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research organisation for people with dementia, their families and carers. We provide confidential information, advice and support, strive to increase public awareness of dementia, and campaign for improved health and social services.
